Diluting the Cult: Strategically Inserting Feminist Concerns in Mainstream Philosophy
by Saba Fatima

Abstract

The focus of my paper is a portion of feminist philosophy discipline that Margaret Walker terms as ‘philosophers who want to express their feminism as philosophers.1 The purpose this paper is to suggest that philosophers with feminist sensibilities should expand the realm of issues they engage in to include issues that may not necessarily arise out of feminist concerns for strategical purposes such as advancing feminist concerns in policies, laws and the likes.
